Nicoletta Morozzi
works in the fields of design, fashion and communication.
Free lance editor of magazines and coordinator of exhibitions
about fashion and design, among which "Italia-Giappone,
design come stile di vita", Yokohama and Kobe, 2001.
In charge of a program of research and design for the
Japanese company Muji. Since the beginning of the '90es
collaborates with studio Andrea Branzi on researches,
exhibitions and communication. She holds courses in design
and fashion at Politecnico di Milano and Naba (Milano). |

Italo Rota was born
in Milan in 1953. After his apprenticeship with Franco
Albini and Vittorio Gregotti, he graduated in Architecture
at the Politecnico di Milano in 1982. From 1976 to 1981
he worked as a member of the editorial staff for "Lotus
International", taking care for some architectural
publications, such as : Mario Botta Milan 1979 and Vittorio
Gregotti 1979.In 1980, he designed in cooperation with
Gae Aulenti projects for the Museé D'Orsay and
for the Beaubourg museum.From 1981, he worked in France
where he won different competitions, such as the new gallery
of French painting at the Louvre and the renovation of
the city center of Nantes. In 1990, he started the project
for the Advances Studies Centre, the Columbia University
in New York and accomplished that in 1994. From 1999 until
2005, he made the interior of the Deutsche bank headquarters
Southern Europe for 2200 employees.From 2000, he realized
two light underground-lines at high mobility for the town
of Brescia.2000: realization of the whole illumination
project of the Seine riversides came to achievement. 2000:
realization of the church of Santa Margherità Maria
Alacoque at Tor Vergata (Rome) in memorial of the Great
Jubilee of the Holy Year 2000. In 2001 he won a competition
for the project of "Arengario Museo del Novecento"
sited in Duomo Square, Milan. Works are expected to be
finished in 2008. Further, he developed a project for
Lugano, CH, focused on global image and design of interiors
for Casino' Kursaal . Finished in 2002. 2002: project
and realization in Jesi , Ancona, Complex S.Floriano Mestica
, for new archeological museum and new civic- auditorium
center. 2002: project and realization in Anzola , Bologna,
for the new mediateque of the town. 2004 inauguration
of S.Sisto mediatheque, Perugina, and Roberto Cavalli
Shops in Milano, Miami and Moscow.Awards:Grand Prix de
l'Urbanisme, Paris 1994; Landmark Conservancy Prize NY
state 1996; Prize "Città di Gubbio" 2002.
Projects have been published in most relevante magazines,
such as Lotus International, Casabella, Domus, Abitare,
L'Architecture d'aujourd'hui, A+U.He lectured in Paris,
Milan, Lousanne, New York at different museums and universities.
He worked with many artists as : Enzo Cucchi with whom
he published the book "Manuale d'architettura",
Mimmo Paladino, Luigi Ontani and Ettore Spalletti. |
